Hello Everyone,
I wanted to start off by just saying thank you for engaging in my social media accounts and my website in the past few days. It’s been a whirlwind few days setting up this website and starting up social media accounts, and it has felt really good! It has been a dream of mine to do this for a long time, and although it does take a lot of time to do this, I am prepared and incentivised to do this because i am fed up!
Sick of the crap, the party lines, the LIES! The politics happening in Westminster is a virus, corrupting politics on all levels. The stable, once powerful United Kingdom has become a laughing stock on the international stage, and our political behavior has become resigned to that of a Year 6 classroom.
We are the nation of Democracy, Christianity, Winston Churchill, and the abolition of slavery, as well as many other things. The nation that defeated Hitler and his savagery, and prevented him from entering our tiny island. The nation of the Industrial Revolution, the Magna Carta, defeating Napoleon, William Shakespeare, the Suffragette movement, and Penicillin.
All these incredible and key feats are what define Britain as a whole and what a rap sheet it is. We are one of the greatest nations to ever walk the face of the earth, and this is what all this was for? childish behaviour and blame sharing…..
All politics appears to be nowadays is scandals and a parliament full of career politicians with more interest in saving their own jobs than serving their constituents and the interests of the country.
In recent years, we have seen a huge rise in the extremities of either end of the political spectrum, whether it be in Reform UK or The Green Party/Your Party. The abuse of real, important political topics to promote extreme ideologies is a disgrace, and it upsets me that parties would use our genuine concerns to promote their own agendas.
Let’s take the Conservative Party; they had 14 years in government, and some decisions they made were incorrect, but also some worked. Similar for the Labour Party, yet every answer to every question asked of them is ‘oh yes, but this is what they left us.’ What sort of answer is that? It doesn’t offer any comfort to the British people; it doesn’t offer an answer, and it certainly doesn’t offer a way forward. This is the reason we elect these people, right? for ‘change’ and to build us a better future? Yet all they do is bicker and moan and blame each other; no wonder people are so politically disillusioned in this country!
For a nation with such a rich history, what a sham we have become. This country has never been so troubled politically as it is now, and we need vast reforms across the board and politicians who are willing to be exactly what they are supposed to be, for the people.
However, in times of trouble like these, it is more important than ever that we remember the phrase ‘there’s no place like home.’ Although a lot seems so negative right now, there is never a better time than that to remember the great things we have achieved as a nation. We are one of the key founders of democracy and a well-respected nation on the international stage, and have been for thousands of years. We are a nation defined by community and togetherness, and although our leaders and politicians may be failing us at the moment, we should not let it define us. We shall not let it define us. WE WILL NOT LET IT DEFINE US!
There truly is no place like home, and what a home we have, never forget that!
God Bless You All & God Save The King.
